Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, has won the “Government Agency of the Year” award.
The award will be handed out to NCC and other awardees in other fields at shifted this year’s LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards on Friday, March 17, 2017.
This year’s LEADERSHIP Conference and Awards was earlier slated to hold on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Abuja International Conference Centre but has now been shifted to Friday, March 17, 2017.
The venue, however, remains the Abuja International Conference Centre.
The shift of date was to enable some of the Governors who have been penned down to receive the Leadership awards to have time to attend the Conference and Awards ceremony on March 17, 2017, as the earlier date chosen, March 16, 2017, coincides with the National Economic Council, NEC meeting, which is also scheduled to hold on March 16, 2017.
The NEC meeting will be chaired by the Vice President with the Governors of the 36 states as members. The theme of this year’s Leadership conference is “The Rice Economy.”
