Genesys Technology Hub, an ideas, creativity and knowledge-based platform in collaboration with CFAtech, a leading technology blog in Nigeria will host the first Southeast startup convergence tagged, ‘GenesysIGNITE.’
The event which will hold on the 15th of December at the Office Complex, Tenece Group Enugu Lifestyle and Golf City – The Centenary City, Enugu, will have in attendance key industry stakeholders within the ecosystem.
This is the first edition of the GenesysIGNITE, will have discussions around the latest technology trends as it affects the region and to proffer expert insights particularly for the participating startups – which will also be exposed to potential investors during the event.
With a focus on undergraduates and early graduates, techies, startup Owners in the Southeast and other regions of the country, the top three innovative ventures will get a seed fund of $10, 000 each.
Speaking ahead of the event, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata, Founder of CFAtech says startups are invited to pitch for $30,000.
According to him, some of the industry key stakeholders include, that would grace the event include Google, HP, Dell/EMC, Microsoft & IBM), the international community – the German Consulate, delegates of New Economy & Startups, German industry and commerce and other government functionaries.
Also involved are, the Office of the Vice President – responsible for Innovation & Entrepreneurship – and the Minister of Science and Technology.
