Facebook or Techsmart.ng; where should I comment? This is a question we receive from some members of our Techsmart.ng community.

We have taken a strategic decision to give more attention to comments on techsmart.ng because when all is said and done, it is our primary base.

Imagine, what will happen if Facebook decides to pull down our pages for whatever reason because they reserve the right to do so? If this happens, then, it means all the history of the comments made by the highly valued members of our community will be lost for ever!

Anyway, for anyone out there that truly loves this blog then, this is the right place to leave your comments and that is why we published 4 Reasons you should comment on techsmart.ng a while back.

Please, note, however, that the minimum number word count for the comments is 25 words because we want to encourage real conversation. We have noticed an upsurge of two-word comments such as ‘very good’, ‘thank you’, ‘well done’, and so on. Although, we appreciate these, but we prefer more meaningful conversation that other members of the community can gain from.

Yes, there is nothing wrong with commenting on Facebook, but we need you to understand that we may or may not be able to attend to comments on Facebook. It is much preferable and less distracting when done on the techsmart.ng blog site.

As we look into the future, we only pray that things will get better for every member of our community.

Thank you for your support thus far!

  1. I personally prefer submitting my comments here. It makes me feel this close connection with the admins. Having responses to my comments too without being bombarded with notifications, in the case of Facebook, is another wonderful reason why I would rather be here. Honestly, I think this place is specially for serious-minded fans.

    • Thanks Covenant. We certainly do prefer it here – it is not easy managing the workload of all platforms, so this makes life easier for us.

  2. Speaking about order and serenity in comments and follow-ups, commenting here is the best. We all know that Facebook Lite uses less data and battery, opens on almost all networks signals and strengths, and as such it is easy to read posts, it also operates well on almost any phone that can connect to the internet, on the other hand the blog site might not always open very well on all phones, even I sometimes read posts on Lite and view them properly when i have stronger network, i know that most of the data plans we have from our dear network providers are either Smartphone plans, Social App data plans, which most people readily use, and as such it doesnt even open on real browsers, except Opera mini at times, all the same, i enjoy it here most, thanks for the info
